Lighting for yachts - position lighting, interior lighting, spotlights for maritime applications
Aqua signal originated from a traditional company from Bremen that was founded in 1868 under the name of Ahlemann & Schlatter. From 1872 onwards, the trading and craft company specialized in the production of ship's lanterns. In 1875, new government regulations for ship lighting inspired the pioneering spirit of the entrepreneurs: Ahlemann & Schlatter succeeded again and again in meeting the high technical demands and further developing lighting technology through innovations. For more than a century, products from Ahlemann & Schlatter accompanied ships all over the world.
This tradition continued when the company was transformed into aqua signal AG in 1986 and listed on the Bremen stock exchange.
Today, aqua signal maintains its position as the world's leading manufacturer of special luminaires and lighting systems for maritime applications. The company will continue to improve lighting technology in the future. With new inventions - and with the usual passion for perfection in quality and service.
